More and more prospects from the outer islands are getting noticed; Sean Shigematsu from Kapa'a High School in Kauai just verbally committed to Hawai'i, and Elvis Matagi from King Kekaulike High School has been offered two Division-1 scholarships, according to King Kekaulike Head Coach J.W. Kenton.

Kenton, on top of his coaching duties, also runs the very popular 'Just Win!' Football camp on the Valley Isle. It was at this camp that Matagi caught the attention of at least two college coaches who happened to be working the camp as part of Kenton's staff that week.

"Gary Anderson from Utah State was the first to offer (Matagi)," Kenton told Scout.com via email on Thursday. "Mike Sanford from UNLV was the second offer."

Kenton added that Hawai'i may also be very close to offering based on Matagi's camp performance.

Elvis first jumped on the scene with a solid combine performance at the PIAA camp on Oahu in May.
