Grand Prairie QB Rhett Bomar		By Randy Rodgers Date: Jul 7, 2003 While Grand Prairie’s Rhett Bomar was selected as the outstanding offensive player for the 2003 Dave Campbell’s Texas Football magazine Super Team, no less than nine QB’s were selected to spots on the first three teams. This high percentage of QB’s reflects the growing popularity of the spread offense in Texas high school football and the high school coach’s desire to place their best athlete at the controls where he can touch the ball on every snap.
