The defending Georgia 2A state champs traveled over 800 miles to compete at Texas Stadium in the Kirk Herbstreit Classic. Pitted against Texas 5A perennial playoff team Timberview (a larger school), Buford carried their dominance from last season into this one by cruising to a 42-21 victory.
