		By Matt Alkire Recruiting Analyst Date: Jan 7, 2009 Derrell Person had committed to play for Syracuse and when Head Coach Greg Robinson was fired he hoped that Mike Locksley would get the job. Person heard that Locksley was turned away from the position and then shortly thereafter, saw him hired by New Mexico, instantly piquing his interest. Now he is part of the program.
