Most tight ends are essentially an extra tackle without a lot of catching ability. One tight end who can handle both the receiving and the blocking responsibilities of a tight end is Porter's Chapel product Reed Gordon. Reed recently attended an SEC spring game in an attempt to boost his recruiting profile.
