When Penn State picked up an up-and-coming defensive end from Maryland in the class of 2006 fans immediately figured that kid was too small to be a defensive end in the Big Ten. It wasn’t just the Nittany Lion faithful who assumed that Aaron Maybin would eventually be a linebacker, most of us in the recruiting industry felt the same. So what does that mean for Dakota Royer?
