Their field is named Beard-DeLong-Easley Field after three alumni (Ed Beard, Steve De Long, and Kenny Easley)who went on to play in the NFL. After leading Smith to their first state championship in 2008 and on pace to break a number of Va. high school football records they may want to think about paying homage to Phillip Sims as well.
