The first school to offer Michael Carlisle was Mississippi State. “I like the coaches there,” Carlisle said. “I was there during the spring and they treated me like family…like I was already on the team. Plus, they play in the SEC and that’s my goal. I want to play in the SEC or maybe the ACC. The SEC is the toughest conference and you really have to earn it to play there...”
