The sophomore shortstop led his team in hitting in 2008, batting .388 with 14 doubles, 36 runs scored and 26 RBI.
He garnered All-Conference and All-Southern California honors in 2008.
As a freshman at Rio Hondo, Mort hit .337 with 41 runs scored and 47 RBI to go along with nine doubles and two home runs.
He earned All-Conference honors as a freshman in 2007 while helping the Roadrunners to an 18-4 conference record and a runner-up finish.
