| Last season as a junior, Walker threw for 775 yards, 10 touchdowns against six interceptions. Walker also rushed for 842 yards and 7 touchdowns. He carries a 3.92 GPA. Walker plans on graduating in December ('04). Brother, Grant Walker, is a red-shirt freshman QB at Purdue. Dad, Jim Walker, played TE at Texas Tech.

Scouting Report: Extremely athletic QB. Has a senior year to prove he can play the position in college, so don't count him out as QB yet. Most project him to play corner (played that position as a soph) or WR as he's got good height (6-1) and speed (4.36).
Walker: "I have great speed and quickness. I throw good and am very composed in big games. I'm very confident and I can always make the first man miss. I move really well. We have a run based offense. I want to get better at my rhythm throwing the same route over and over."
