| Biography: |
| Stephens was selected as the Pennsylvania MVP at the Big 33 All-Star game, one of the most prestigeous high school all-star contests in the nation.
Pennsylvania will feature a couple of small but lightning quick running backs next season, and one of the top ones to watch is LaRod Stephens of Johnstown.
LaRod was named to the Old Spice Red Zone team, 1st Team Associated press AAA All State, 1st Team AAA All-State PA Football News, Tribune Democrat player of the Year.
Scouting Report:Stephens is very explosive with great speed, quickness, vision, balance and elusiveness. He shows no fear on the field, as he can run between the tackles and has that great speed to get around the corner. Stephens hits the hole hard and has a great bounce to the outside. In the open field he is a deadly runner. He also is a good receiver out of the backfield and he will block when asked to.
