| As a senior (8-4), La Fell caught 46 passes for 1,116 yards and 16 touchdowns. Defensively he had 70+ tackles and eight interceptions (four returned for TDs). La Fell also returned two punts for scores. La Fell recorded 39 catches for 512 yards with nine touchdowns as a junior.
La Fell reports a 2.9 GPA and has a 720 SAT--retake unset; Dec 10 ACT is unreported.
Scouting Report: La Fell simply gets open and catches the football. Not real shiny as he makes it look easy. He just gets it done. Really just now beginning to come into his own. He does, however, wow you when it's a jump ball as the kid sports serious hops. He'll need to get stronger, tougher and more experience, but is expected to be featured, along with Quincy Driver, as the weapons in next year's Lamar O, if they can find a QB to get them the ball.
Coach's Comments: "He was our go-to guy at the wide reciver position last year. And he has a lot of upside," Lamar head coach Tom Nolen said.
