| Freeney finished his season junior with 80 tackles, 14 sacks and four fumble recoveries. He bench presses 350 pounds and throws shot put and discus in track.

Freeney: “I just like to get the quarterbacks scared,” said Freeney. “Sometimes I like to bull rush and sometimes I like to make a move and rush from the outside. I have the speed and strength to do whatever I need to do to get to the quarterbacks. The quarterbacks always find out where I am when they come to the line of scrimmage, because they are scared of my abilities.”
Scouting Report: Freeney play left defensive end and has a frame that could add some weight. He is a well-disciplined player that can rush the passer and stuff the run. He uses his hands well and has good explosion.
