A huge target at the tight end position. Could grow into an offensive tackle on the next level. Had 15 catches for 200 yards and four touchdowns as a junior. Jeff's older brother Brad Cottam plays TE for Tennessee.
As a senior, Cottam was named Tennessee's Mr. Football for Class 5A in helping to lead his team to a 10-4 record with 15 catchs for 200+ yards tight end. He added on 80+ tackles and 7 sacks on defense.
