McCovey: "I am great at reacting to the ball. I am a very aggressive player. The thing I need to work on most is just getting bigger in the weight room."
Scouting Report: McCovey has good range and is a physical LB. He is relatively new to the game and shows good instincts and he makes plays against the run or pass.
Coach's Comments: "Adrian looks more like a basketball player," said Lakewood Head Coach Mike Chtistensen. "He has size 16 shoes and a 32" vertical leap. Last year was his first year on varsity with us, he played JV as a sophomore after transferring in from Locke, and for the first nine games of the year he was hands down a better player than Luther (Brown). Adrian has quicker reactions, he's not as fast as Luther but he gets to the ball quicker."
