| Stats/Honors: As a senior (8-3) Powers had 75+ tackles. He was named first-team all-league and county selection on offense and defense. Second team all-state underclass on offense. Had seven sacks on defense.

Powers: "I've got good strength and speed coming off the edge. This season I'm working more on my pass rush. Colleges are going to want me to keep my speed, gain some lbs, but not bulk up right away to 275 or anything like that. I don't care if I play DE in a three-point stance (in an even front) or OLB in a two-point stance (in an odd front).
Coach's Comments: Serra Head Coach Patrick Walsh says of Powers, "He has a great attitude and is very coach-able. Will is a great athlete and he has the tools to be a big-time player on the next level."
