Portis threw for 1,881 yards and 21 touchdowns as a junior. Also rushed for 245 yards and three touchdowns on 45 carries. Was selected second team all-league. Portis carries a 3.0 GPA and scored over 900 SAT. In 2004, he ran 79 times for 748 yards and 11 touchdowns. In ten games he was 135-187 for 2,027 yards, 30 touchdowns and only 7 interceptions.
Portis: "I can make big plays and am good at breaking things down on offense. I have a very good deep ball."
