Robinson, who projects as a full academic qualifier, is considered by some as the top running back prospect in the Bayou State for 2005. As a junior he rushed for more than 1,600 yards and 16 touchdowns but those numbers should rise next season with the strong work ethic he brings to the field.
Coach's Comments: “He is a hard worker in practice and with everything he does,” said Winnfield offensive backs coach Steve Adams.. “He is a good kid and a good leader. He is not vocal but he leads by example. He finishes a run better than anyone I have ever seen.”
Scouting Report:Robinson has size and speed and runs with good power. He can pound it between the tackles and has enough speed to beat you to the edge. At the next level he should be most effective as an inside runner. Robinson has good balance and the ability to break that first tackle. Robinson is also a good receiver out of the backfield. He is a hard worker both on and off the field.
