| As a junior, he threw for 2,200 yards, 24 touchdowns, and six interceptions. He finished with a 61 percent completion rate. Costa also ran for 700 yards and six touchdowns. He was named first team all-state for small schools and second team all-state under-class. He was the league MVP and county player of the year.
Costa reports a 3.3 GPA/23 ACT.
Costa: "I have the ability to make plays when they are needed most. I can come through in the clutch and I never give up."
Coach's Comments: Hilmar head coach Craig Handy says of Costa, "He has a great understanding of the game. He is willing to work as much as he is asked to so he is very coachable. He is a vey focused player that is constantly taking the steps needed towards getting better." |
