| Tatum is definitely one of the best athletes on the west coast and can do it all as a linebacker. He's just as good rushing the QB as he is taking down a ballcarrier. His effectiveness drops a little in open space when having to react, but he's also set the bar awfully high.

| Biography: |
| As a junior, he had an injured shoulder and did not play at St. Mary's High in Berkeley. As a sophomore at St. Mary's, he had 125 tackles (85 solo), 10 sacks, seven forced fumbles, and four interceptions. He was named first team all-league and the defensive MVP of league. Tatum has transferred to McClymonds High in Oakland for his senior year; Bench: 335/Squat: 515/Vert Jump: 37"
Tatum reports a 2.8 core GPA/1350 SAT (new version)--no retake--"I'm totally qulaified."
Tatum: "I am great at reading plays so I know where to go when the ball gets hiked. I have great vision on defense and a lot of that comes from my experience as a running back. I also have great instincts and I'm a hard hitter.
"I'm a great sideline-to-sideline linebacker. I always see where the ball is and I read plays well. I also get to the ball quickly and I'm a good hitter. Right now I'm hungry to get back on the field and play. This next season I just want to totally ball-out and have a real good time playing the game."
