Barnes was 156/265 for 2,321 yards and threw 21 touchdown passes as a junior (10 INTs). In 2004, was 143-205 for 1956 yards, 30 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. He bench press 275 and power cleans 225.
Barnes: "I have a strong arm and I make good decisions. I am a student of the game (Jimmy's father, John, has for years been one of the most well-respected HS football coaches in Orange County, Ca, at Los Alamitos, where he coaches his son). Speed would be the area I need to work on the most."
