| Sims is impressive on ball sides of the ball and good enough to play running back or linebacker at the next level. Defensively, he fights off blocks well and shows good fundamentals. He reads and reacts quickly, can play sideline to sideline and attacks well up field. |
| Biography: |
| Last season as a junior, Sims rushed the ball 141 times for 1,154 yards and scored 17 touchdowns. Defensively, he recorded 84 tackles, 10 tackles for a loss and two sacks. He also blocked two kicks. He is the younger brother for FSU standout linebacker Ernie Sims.
Sims: “On offense I’m shifty in the hole, and on defense I read plays well. I think I’d be a better linebacker [in college], but I probably enjoy running back a little more.”
