| Biography: |
| A four-year starter, Spikes posted 98 tackles including three sacks, seven interceptions, and forced five fumbles from his linebacker position. As a freshman, Spikes manned the defensive end position, but moved to linebacker before his sophomore season.
Coach's Comments: “He’s got the intangibles,” explained Coach Roy Kirby. “He’s got the nose for the ball. He just knows where things are going. He sees it one time and you come back and try to do it again against him he’s going to intercept it. And he’s a big time hitter."
