| As a senior Hunter was named second team Associated Press Class AAAA All-State.
This past season as a junior Hunter recorded 133 tackles, five interceptions (two returned for TDs), five sacks and ten tackles for a loss. Offensively he rushed for over 1,100 yards and 24 touchdowns. That’s getting it done on both sides of the ball. He led his team to the state title game, although he broke his arm in the semi-final game and missed the championship. As a sophomore he had 135 tackles and rushed for over 1,500 yards and 21 scores; Bench: 300/Squat: 450/Power Clean: 285
Hunter reports a 3.2 GPA/1130 SAT (new version)--fall retest planned but unset.
Hunter: "I've got great athleticism at outside linebacker. It's hard to block me with all of my speed and agility. I can drop back fast, make quick reads and solid tackles. I also force a lot of turnovers.
"I want to work on my high knee action at running back and break tackles better too. I also want to work on driving my feet more when I make tackles."
