| Biography: |
| A speedster who is a track star as well as a football star, Eugene projects at several different positions on the college level, including wide receiver and defensive back. Plays quarterback primarily for Destrehan, but is an elite DB (prefers corner) prospect.
Final JR (9-4) stats: 25 tackles/7 interceptions/1 sack; 1165 yds passing/10 TDs; 750 yds rush/6 TDs
Eugene: "I'm good at being aware of what's going on around me on the field, and I react well to the ball. I'm good at focusing on the game and knowing routes and reading plays. What I'm real good at is my coverage. Also, this past season I played in eight games as quarterback. At first, I started off the season as cornerback but then I was transferred to QB because I was needed at the position. Playing that position really helped me understand receivers better and how they think.
"I want to work on my footwork. Right now it's great but I could always get it better."
