| Elisara is one of the old-school 'rough and tumble' types that will do whatever it takes to get the upper hand in the trenches. Has the size, bloodlines and ethic to be a top lineman at the next level. Hurt knee last year, which is something colleges will be looking at. |
| Biography: |
| Elisara broke his left ankle in the fifth game of last season, missing the rest of the year. But in four and a half games he tallied ten sacks. Ferris High School finished the season 7-3.
Elisara reports a 3.5 GPA/June 5 first-time ACT.
Led Ferris to an 8-2 record, including a 7-2 mark in Greater Spokane League play ... A first-team AP and Seattle Times all-state selection ... A Seattle Times "Red Chip" recruit ... Ranked 91st in Scout.com's National Hot 100, 10th among defensive tackles ... Ranked seventh overall on Scout.com's Northwest Hot 100, and No. 22 in the West Hot 100 ... Tabbed as the No. 24 defensive lineman in the nation and named an All-American by PrepStar ... As a junior, recorded 10 sacks in five games before suffering an ankle injury ... Helped Ferris to a 7-3 record in 2004.
Elisara: "I'm an aggressive player, but I'm smart about it. I don't just go out there and play crazy you know. I really know what I'm doing when I take the field. I'm really good at out-thinking other players and I get off the ball real quick. College coaches tell me I've got great quickness.
"I want to polish up on the little mistakes that I make in games like getting better at fighting off the double team. And I need to follow through on my rip moves better. I need to go full speed more often and never take a down off. Preparing for next year I need to work more on my speed and conditioning also."
