| McCoy has a great burst out of his stance. He is a leader. He works extremely hard at his game. His strength, explosiveness and work ethic easily make him one of the top 100 players in the nation. |
| Biography: |
| 2005 JR Season Stats: 85 tackles, 20 sacks, 3 FFs, 3 FRs, 1 INT (which he returned for a 48 yard TD).
Coach's Comments: "When he is playing at his best, he is the best there is," said head coach Michael Branch. "He isn't as quick as Tommie Harris, but he has great quickness off the ball, and he probably is even stronger. He has a great work ethic, and really pushes his teammates hard to play at the same intensity."
