How Acquired: Drafted by the Patriots in the second round of the 2004 NFL Draft (63rd overall).
Career Notes: Was inactive his entire rookie season. Hill was moved to the active roster one time in 2004 but recorded no statistics. Continues his role as reserve defensive lineman in 2005.
Personal: Born Marquise Hill, son of Sherry Hill, August 7, 1982 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Attended De La Salle High in New Orleans. Was named first-team All-American high-school player by ESPN, USA Today, The Sporting News, Rivals.com, Super Prep, and Fox Sports. Named first-team 5A All-State. Attended LSU where Hill majored in general studies. |
