Dorrestein is one of the top offensive line prospects in the Land of Lincoln. The big offensive tackle graded out at 90% and had 25 pancake blocks in 2004. He was named all-conference.Dorrestein benches 315 pounds, squats 500 pounds and has a vertical jump of 23 inches.
Senior stats: Plainfield concluded their season with a 4-5 record. Dorrestein said he had "about 50 to 60 pancake blocks this season."
Dorrestein reports a 4.3 GPA (5 scale), a 24 ACT and a 1560 SAT.
Dorrestein - "My best strength is my pass blocking. I have good feet and I'm also a pretty good run blocker. I'm a good leader on the field. I go all out and love to get blocks up field. I'm a great pass blocker and move well because we pull a lot. I'm lifting five times a week and need to put more weight on my frame."
