| Meagher emerged this spring as one of the top tight end prospects in the Midwest. Fine blocker. Able to find holes in zone coverage. Can make things happen after the catch. Shows some nastiness on the football field. Can outmuscle linebackers and run by safeties. Very good athlete and competitive. |
| Biography: |
As a junior, Meagher caught 21 passes for 358 yards and 5 touchdowns. For his efforts he was named first team All-Conference.
Scouting Report: Meagher is a very athletic pass catcher. He is a tremendous blocker at the point of attack, and he gets to the second level and seals off linebackers with ease. He releases well from coverage, and possesses enough speed to get space between himself and most linebackers. His size and athleticism presents match-up problems for safeties and linebackers, he has outstanding ball skills. |
