At running back, has 6700 career yards, 6th in Ohio. 81 career rushing TDs and 92 total, #9 in Ohio history - and holds the school record for TDs [92]. 61 career receptions for 649 yards and 5 TDs.
As a junior, Mabin rushed for 1,495 yards and 23 touchdowns. He had three interceptions on the defensive side of the football.
Mabin reports a 3.6 GPA and a 21 ACT.
Mabin: "I prefer to play cornerback at the next level because I believe I can best make an impact on defense. A lot of the schools recruiting me said I could choose between cornerback and running back. I play physical on defense. When a receiver comes up to the line, I'm best at jamming him off the line. And if he does make it over the line, my speed makes up for it. On offense, my best trait is my vision. This summer I'm training to be bigger, faster and a better leader for the upcoming season. My coaches and teammates are really dedicated. We work run and lift in the weight room Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting at six in the morning.
