| A gifted two-way player, Colton (Calif.) High's Shareece Wright could play both running back or cornerback in college. He prefers the defensive side of the ball, however. As a junior (11-1), had 1,221 yards on the ground on 139 carries and 14 TDs (offensive MVP) while also garnering 97 tackles and a pair of sacks, four batted down passes and two fumble recoveries; Bench: 270/Squat: 365/Vert Jump: 43"
Final senior (9-3) stats: Wright finished his season with 16 rushing touchdowns on 78 carries for a total of 1020 yards. Defensively, he had 68 tackles. Wright missed the first two games of the season with a broken left hand.
Wright reports a 2.5 GPA/660 1st time SAT/730 Nov retake.
Wright: "I've got great speed and awareness of the game. I've been working on gaining more weight for this next season. So far I've gained about twenty pounds. I'm up from 165."
