| Howard played varsity basketball as a sophomore and was recruited to the football team by a new head football coach in the spring of 2004. In his 1st year as a quarterback (with a season that was 2 games shorter because of hurricanes) he broke 7 school records and passed for 1826 yards. He completed 123 of 234 passes with 11 touchdowns and rushed for 5 more touchdowns, kicked an extra point and did the punting. Howard caries a 3.8 GPA and was named 1st team All County Quarterback. He was also named 2nd team All Suncoast, and honorable mention All State in basketball his junior year. |
