Partial senior stats (8-2): McCoy has 9600 yards receiving for 14 touchdowns on offense, and on defense he has 13 sacks.
McCoy reports a 2.4 GPA and an 860 SAT, but retook the test in early Oct. "Schools have told me to work hard in the classroom and get my grade point average up. I think the schools know I will be eligible by Signing Day. Southern Cal and Cal were the schools that are really pressing me on my grades."
McCoy: "I've got some great upper body strength and good height. My hands are pretty much getting better every day. I'm also good at jumping over defenders. I want to get my forty time down to 4.5 by the end of the season. It's pretty much about working on my speed and quickness right now," he said.
