| Gabe is a really good athlete for his size, including solid speed. He could play a number of positions and could easily move into a DE or TE at the next level. He would be mismatched against smaller slot players in space, but creates his own mismatches against bigger tackles that are slow of foot. |
| Biography: |
| Clocked a 15.5 in the high hurdles, currently one of the top ten fastest prep times in the state of Oregon as of May, 2005. Great combination of athleticism and strength, has a 300-plus pound bench press and a 500 pound squat; Vert Jump: 35"
Partial senior stats (4-0): 3 sacks.
Miller reports a 3.2 GPA/1570 SAT--fall retest--"I'm fully qualified with this score but I just want to take it again to open up my options to get into some tougher schools."
Miller: "I'm a big, strong and fast player and I'm able to do some stuff that most big guys can't do. I've also got some good hands and I'm good at getting after the ball on defense. I want to work on my side-to-side speed and just get a little quicker at everything I do."
Miller said he also has played fullback for the past to seasons and looks to be mixing it up at that position, as well as at tight end and linebacker, this season.
Coach Steve Coury: "He's very athletic, runs very well for a big guy...There's just so many things with that size -- and that ability to run -- that he may be able to do at the next level." |
