Opens up his hips quickly and has a second gear. Has good ball skills and leaping ability. Reed loves to hit and it shows, he is always around the ball. He is a sure open field tackler. He also excels in the return game. |

| During his senior season, Reed ran for 1,915 yards and 26 touchdowns. He caught seven passes for 257 yards and four scores. He averaged 36.7 yards per catch.
Reed finished his high school career with 4,276 yards rushing and 48 rushing touchdowns.
As a junior, Reed was named first-team All-Area and first-team Class AAA All-State by the Associated-Press.
He carried the ball 142 times for 1461 yards and 15 touchdowns on offense for Johnstown. |
