Biography:
Sergio Brown will be a three-year varsity letter winner in 2005. He had 60 tackles and five interceptions as a junior (3-6 record). Sergio scored six defensive touchdowns. On the offensive side of the ball, Brown had 21 receptions and four touchdowns. Named defensive conference most valuable player. Projects as a safety at the next level; Bench: 265/Vert Jump: 38"

Brown reports a 3.0 GPA/19 ACT--no retest.

Brown: "I've got great athleticism at the safety position. I read QBs well and I've got some good breaking speed on the ball. I need to work on just being more patient this season. Sometimes I have the tendency to anticipate a play too hard and miss something."

Coach's Comments: "Sergio is extremely athletic. He has the knack for breaking on the football. He's always trying to strip the football. Sergio is a coach's dream and he's got a very bright future."
