| 2003 - Redshirted 2004: Competed for number one placekicking job during spring drills and handled team's kickoff duties most of '04 season...earned starting FG/PAT job in regular season finale vs. Georgia Tech...connected on his first career field goal attempt, a 44-yarder in the final minutes of the Tech game to put Bulldogs ahead 19-13...named recipient of the Special Teams Newcomer of the Year Award at the conclusion of the '04 season.....kicked 20-yard field goal in 2005 Outback Bowl victory over Wisconsin....part of team that posted 42-10 record from 2001-04 (sixth best in the country), three straight seasons of 10 or more wins, three straight bowl victories, and three consecutive national top six finishes |
