| One of the most complete running backs nationally, Tyler is a powerful runner and is very tough to tackle. He's got good instincts and hands, catching the ball well out of the backfield. |
| Biography: |
| One of the best running back prospects in California in the past decade. The son of former UCLA and NFL running back Wendell Tyler, Marc has been a prolific running back for Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian since his freshman year. As a junior (13-0), he was an all-state underclass selection, rushing for 2,196 yards and 39 touchdowns on 182 attempts. Also had 40 receptions for six more scores. Helped lead the Lions to their third straight CIF Division X title.
Tyler reports a 2.5 core GPA and a 17 ACT, which he is retaking on Feb. 10.
Tyler: “My strengths are my burst off the line and my catching ability. I have great vision and great moves. When I was younger, everyone seemed to under-estimate me because I was such a big kid. They thought that I couldn’t move. I still seem to shock guys off the line. As for my weakness, it is my overall speed. Everyone can work on getting faster.”
