| A huge man, Ta'amu is at his best from his guard position drive-blocking and clearing huge swaths of yardage. He's not as effective when having to block in space, but his footwork is really improving. Has the advantage - because of his natural strength - to be able to just put a hand on a player in order to re-route them, which allows him to be very effective. |
| Biography: |
Ta'amu benches 335 pounds and squats 500.
Ta'amu reports a 3.2 core GPA and a 1170 SAT (3 parts), which he will retake in the fall.
Ta'amu: "I have a lot of power in my legs and I'm pretty quick. I'm not the fastest guy, but I am quick. I like to dominate and just have that mentality on the field that I can't be beat. I want to get faster and improve my 40 time, which is 5.4. I want to be part of the play on every down and get to the ball faster. I also need to improve my stamina and go 100% the whole time."
