Yandell reports a 3.0 core GPA and a 990 SAT and is qualified.
Yandell: “This is my first year on the O-Line since my JV year. Because of my size and my speed, the coaches think I’m more suited for right tackle. I think what I’ve learned off the D-line will really help me on offense. I should be able to interpret what these guys are thinking a little better and be able to use that towards my advantage. On the other hand, it can be a weakness too…my inexperience. I’m working on my abilities and offensive techniques so I won’t make the mental mistakes that come with inexperience.
