AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
 Breakaway Speed
Cassita blends size, speed and power to produce the best inside-and-outside run game in the region. Runs with great lean, is always falling down going forward. A very instinctual cutter with great vision, but he needs to vary up his game - he almost always cuts left. Can also be a dangerous weapon out of the backfield, as he has good hands

Biography:
Ran for 1019 yards and had 252 yard receiving as a junior (7-3). Scored 19 touchdowns in 2005; Bench: 305/Squat: 515/Power Clean: 315

Cassita reports a 2.7 core GPA and will take the ACT on Feb. 10.

Cassita: "This year I plan to work out so I can build up my speed. You can always work on building strength and speed. I always am trying to get faster. On the field, I think my strength is my good lateral movement. My best strength is cutting through opponents.

"I am very balanced," Cassita said. "I can run outside, and take it up the sideline. I can get the QB toss and beat guys to the corner. I've got power to run between the tackles. I have explosive speed and can maintain the speed.

"My one weakness is that I cannot beat the corner from a dead sprint," Cassita said. "They always catch me. I am going to do plyametrics. It's an explosive workout. I will be working on my speed and hamstrings. I have been doing box jumps and straight leg dead lifts."
