| Biography: |
| One of the top tight ends in the Class of 2007, Harris was named to the All-Combine Team at the 2006 U.S. Army All-American Combine in San Antonio. Had 13 catches for 145 yards in a run offense, while also adding 40 tackles and 6.5 sacks from his end position at Gardena (Calif.) Serra.
Harris reports a 2.9 core GPA and an 1100 SAT.
Harris: "I know the game well since I have pretty much played it since I was born. I go up against offensive lineman all the time that don't think I am quick because of how big I am. Then the ball is snapped and I am flying by them.
“My explosiveness getting off the ball and my fast foot work are probably my strengths. I still want to get faster before going into college, though. I prefer playing as a defensive end or defensive tackle because I like to hit people. I also really like handling the ball on offense, but most colleges already have enough tight ends, so I prefer defense so that I can get playing time in college." |
