| Son of former SC All-America linebacker Clay Matthews, who also played in the NFL with Cleveland and Atlanta from '78 to '96. All-Ventura County first-team in 2005 (13-0 record), when he had 132 tackles, including 1 sack. He returned four interceptions for 107 yards as a junior.
Matthews reports a 3.2 core GPA/21 ACT.
