| He plugs the hole faster than just about any linebacker prospect among the class of 2007. He makes a quick recognition of the play and flys to the football. Rouse is physical and very aggressive. When he comes on the blitz he really gets after the quarterback. The bottom line is that Rouse is a terror when he plays down hill. He has good size and instincts. Rouse will have to work on defending the pass. |

| Rouse is next in line of what have been some outstanding linebacker prospects at Joliet Catholic, including Mike Goolsby (Notre Dame) and Chris Jeske (Northwestern). Rouse is a physical linebacker that loves to hit and he's a sure tackler. Kevin had 90 tackles and 25 tackles for a loss as a junior. He was named all-conference and honorable-mention all-area. Rouse bench presses 315, squats 500 and vertical jumps 34".
Rouse reports a 3.5 core GPA and a 26 ACT score.
Rouse: "I play downhill and I have good speed. I'm all over the field. I deliver a good blow at contact. I think I need to work on my quickness and lateral movement and my coverage skills."
