| This is a kid with good speed and size and he plays with good fundamentals, especially when it comes to tackling. Colasanti plays down hill and he shows excellent range and is a big hitter. He really explodes through his hips and generates a ton of power. Colasanti plays sideline to sideline. Another impressive attribute of Colasanti is his ability to fight off blocks and get to the ball.

| As a senior, Colasanti had 53 tackles (70 assisted), 12 tackles for loss, 6 1/2 sacks and two fumble recoveries. Colasanti earned All-Metro honors as a senior and was named to the Detroit News "Dream Team".
Chris Colasanti is one of the top prospects in the Midwest. Colasanti started his high school career at Notre Dame Prep in Pontiac and transfered to Brother Rice in the middle of his sophomore year. Colasanti had 153 tackles, four sacks and an interception in 2005. He was named All-Catholic League, 1st team Oakland County by the Oakland Press, 1st team All-Metro by the Detroit News and the Detroit Free-Press and 1st team All-State by the Detroit News, Detroit Free-Press and the Associated Press.
