| Won't wow you with his size or speed, but may be the most polished quarterback in California. Has great technique and is one of the more efficient passers in the West (34 touchdowns, 4 interceptions in 2005). Also can get command in the huddle and has great leadership. |
| Biography: |
| As a junior (10-1-1), he threw for almost 2,400 yards with 34 touchdowns, and had only four interceptions (65% completion percentage). He led East Valley to an unbeaten Citrus Belt league title and the CIF Quarterfinals. Fouch earned first team all-league, area and county honors. He was also a second team all-state under-class selection. He injured his shoulder in the final regular season game, but is 100 percent for his team's spring ball.
Fouch reports a 3.7 core GPA/May first-time SAT
Fouch: "I am a leader. I am the kind of guy I want the whole team to rely on. I just go out there and make plays. I am not worried about who is watching or what my stats are - all I care about is winning. My goal is just to throw the ball hard and get my team to a win.
"I don’t worry about the stats, I just go out there and play for the team. The thing I need to work on is getting out of the pocket more. I’m not a running QB. Some colleges are looking for the double-threat…I tend to stay back in the pocket and throw."
