| Romeo has good quickness out of the blocks reads the passer well. He has good instincts and recovers better than most. Needs to add some more weight or could struggle against bigger receivers, but doesn't lack confidence going against pass-catchers. |

Rated by Scout.com as one of the top 100 prep corner prospects in the nation. Named his league’s defensive MVP in 2006 after piling up 58 tackles, 11 pass deflections and a head-turning four field goal blocks. He picked off three balls and recovered a fumble. On offense, he pulled in 40 catches for 916 yards, rushed 20 times for 220 yards and scored 13 touchdowns, including one on a kick return. Transferred to Snata Fe Springs from Gardena (Calif.) Serra High. Nephew of Oregon linebackers coach Don Pellum and nephew of former NFL player Forrest Pellum. As a junior in 2005, had 32 tackles, 3 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries, 6 passes defensed and one touchdown.
