| Jordan Hammond is a very athletic tight end and defensive end for Lakeland High. The LSU commitment runs very well for his size, especially in space going out on his routes. More than adequate pass-catcher, may be better at run blocking where he seems comfortable blocking defensive linemen as well as getting to the second level to take on linebackers. Long arms, powerful lower body, the biggest question is how will he come back from injury. |
| Biography: |
| One of the top tight end prospects in the state of Florida, Hammond helped lead Lakeland to its second Class 5A state championship in as many years in 2005. He was the team's tight end and played a lot of defensive end as well. Offensively, he had 25 receptions and defensively, he had 50 tackles, 26 for loss, and four sacks.
