| Wells a very physical corner who has excellent closing speed. He shows quick reaction time, but what makes Wells so special is his tackling ability. He is not afraid to come up and lay the wood and is excellent in covering the run as well as the pass. He could play safety or corner in college, but his speed and closing ability makes him more attractive as a corner. |

| Wells was named first team all-district and first team all-greater Houston as a junior. He collected 60 tackles, six interceptions, broke up 12 passes and forced two fumbles. |
